| This quote I found on the internet quite a while ago. I think it's from a webcomic. I personally this is the most meaningful quote and inspires me quite nicely. It's about the classic story of good vs. Evil, hero vs. Villain. “... survival is not without sacrifice. This prevents absolute satisfaction, not every ending can leave with riding in the sunset after a job well done. Without pain, nothing is learned. Without sacrifice, the moral is lost. And ironically, without life-changing conflict, a happy ending is nowhere in sight. But the job of the hero is never done. The passing of one conflict only makes room for another. Just remember, in the final chapter, it always works out, regardless of the path chosen to get there. However, the nature of the conflict serves a different purpose. To know who your allies are, to know who you are and have an overall understanding of why things happened the way they did. For the present, the battle won, the villian vanquished, the overall feeling of victory and heroism... 'All in a day's work,' replies the hero.” - | ||||||||||
